Luna was malnourished and very depressed when found homeless and roving around Ensenada. Her body was covered in fleas, ticks, lice and had full sarcoptic and demodex mange.

She was brought to Animal Advocates, a very clean and loving home where she was taken care of and poured with love.

Now she is healthier and happier with the best life ever!

A white boxer puppy named Holly suffered a broken spine after she was hit and ran by a car in Mexico. Because of the injuries she has sustained, Walking was impossible for her and she would often just lay down sadly on the floor as she watched everyone around her walk, move and even play.

Today, she has recovered a lot and has brought back her old self again – playful and energetic Holly is very thankful for the help you gave her – wheels to keep her

walking again.

You didn’t just give her a chance to walk again, but you gave her hope to live a normal life again in spite of the disability she has sustained. Now, she is continuously getting better, and happier than ever. Thanks to you!

Long Live for the Kitten, Oliver

Oliver was only 6 months old when he accidentally fell from the second floor.  His foster mother was away when the accident happened. They thought that the kitten was dead. Fortunately, someone helped Oliver so the kitten was saved.

Oliver is very thankful because he was saved and was given another chance to live with his family. It’s a miracle that this kitten is still alive after the accident.

The help and care that Oliver receives is a thing that he will remember for a lifetime. Now, this kitten, Oliver, who loves food and loves to play, will be living longer happily.

Michael Angelo, also known as “Miki” is a service dog. An assistance dog trained to help people with disabilities.  He is an amazing dog that gives happiness to everyone.  He also loves to play with people.  Most importantly, this adorable dog gives an inspiration to other people, especially to those who are sick.

Those cats beside him are his close friends Kaz and Kino whom he regularly plays with at the backyard. Miki misses them so bad when they are not around.

Now that Miki had passed away, all the people he met are saddened by his demise. Everyone misses him so much especially the family who raised and took care of him.    If he only knew how much he means to them, he is not just a companion, but an inspiration, a source of happiness and a source of strength.  They are so thankful for everything Miki did.

Miki, a Good Friend You Should Know

Miki is an elderly service dog paid to be euthanized. It is a mercy killing where an animal is allowed to be killed if it has an incurable disease or hopeless condition.

Before his life has come to an end, there was a good thing he has done for others. The older lady in pajamas is a brain cancer patient from Bakersfield. She loves Miki because it gives her comfort and happiness every time she sees him. It seems that this lady has found a good friend in Miki.   She comes to see Miki and sometimes, Miki is the one who visits her.

The lady doesn’t know that Miki has passed away. Her daughter is still holding off to tell her. She’s waiting for the good timing to inform her mother because she knows this will make her sad.
